Packers Under 11.5 Wins
Brad Feinberg: How have the Packers improved? The defense takes a step up from last year with the return of Jaire Alexander. Fine. But isn’t that more than offset by the loss of not only Davante Adams, but also Marquez Valdes-Scantling. That’s their No. 1 receiver and their receiver to stretch the field. They have some questions on the offensive line, too. I like their running game but that’s not how you win in today’s game. You can say their division is a pushover. Okay, they sweep the Bears. But I think the Vikings are good and the Lions are feisty and improved. So I see 4-2 in the NFC North. That means they have to go 8-3 outside of the division to beat them. Even against the AFC and NFC Easts, I’m going to dare them to do this. Note they also draw the Rams and the Bucs. For the rest, 7-4 seems more than fair. Aaron Rodgers is at the stage of his career where regression should be expected. And of course, we like the Unders because mostly bad things can happen, especially when you’re expected to win 12 games.
