AFC North Combination Bet

Brad is locking in three separate NFL futures bets in the AFC North:

  • Ravens to win AFC North +200
  • Bengals to win AFC North +200
  • Steelers to win AFC North +1400

Brad: Yes, the market right now is not pricing in what I think about Deshaun Watson, which is that he has basically a 0% chance to play a game this year. I’ll be shocked if he does. Baker Mayfield isn’t going to be there either, but, if he was to be there – if that changes – I run, make that sprint to the exits on this bet. I’d get out of it IMMEDIATELY. I’m not saying Mayfield is great but he’s good enough for the Browns to win 10 or 11 games.

Let me tell you something, eliminate Watson from the equation and tell me why the Browns are better than the Steelers? They’re not better at QB with Jacoby Brissett. I’ll take Mitch Trubisky over Brissett. And both of the rest of the teams seem about equal to me.

So the way I’m playing this is basically the same amount on the Ravens and Browns and then a little on the Steelers. So $100 hypothetically on both the Ravens and Bengals and then $20 on the Steelers and I guarantee (if the Browns are out) an $80 profit.
