Derek Carr to Lead NFL in Passing Yards 12/1
Brad Feinberg: Here’s why I like this bet: he’s just 200 yards behind Patrick Mahomes with his expected yards but we’re getting 12/1 vs. 8/1 for Mahomes to lead the NFL in passing yards. I just think the Raiders are going to have extreme passing splits – proactively, not necessarily because of game scripts. I also think their defense is a question mark so the scoreboard may dictate more passing on top of that. It’s just simple math from there. Carr could throw 650 passes. He’s 7.8 yards per attempt the past three years on average. 650 times 7.8 is 5,070 yards. And you can argue his efficiency may go up now with Davante Adams on the team. I like this receiving corps a lot with Adams and also Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow.
