This week, BetPrep Sharp Brad Feinberg discusses his top MLB and NFL futures (as of July 6, 2022) with host and BetPrep Editor Michael Salfino of The Athletic and FiveThirtyEight. Futures include the St. Louis Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Damien Harris, Rashaad Penny, Derek Carr, and more.

Here’s an excerpt from that episode:

Damien Harris Under 10.5 Rushing TDs

Brad Feinberg: Harris scored 15 touchdowns this year. So you think this has all the regression built-in. But it’s just very hard to score 11 rushing TDs, even if you stay healthy. Since 2010, a period of 12 seasons, there have been 64 seasons of 11+ rushing TDS – or 5.3 per year. So five guys probably are going to do it, maybe six. Let’s say six because of the 17-game season now. (Even though last year, there were only five.) And that’s his over/under? I’ll take the Under every day. Because even though I like this bet with Harris staying healthy all year, I’m getting any injury that causes him to miss games as a bonus.
